Haying is in the between-cuts lul for the moment, though I do have a field thats about ready for second cut already... and I had to clean and re-organize the garage, which to be fair was a TOTAL wreck, and is now ALMOST clear enough to house vehicles again... but I managed to spend enough time with the lathe to get it up and running :)
too much stick out, and probably too-small/slow a cut to get good surface finish with carbide, but it’s a start!

That’s awesome! I’m jealous, but I am looking to get my garage done in a couple months and will hopefully be shopping for a lathe this winter. Though due to space limitations I may go with a hobby grade, multi-use machine like a Grizzly Mill/Lathe combo.
Did you ever get a CNC router?

The CNC router is still in development... Just too damn busy in the summer to work on it, this winter I will be attacking the design process and prototyping again.
